Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What’s provided/What do we need to bring?

A: We’ll make sure there is starter rolls of toilet paper and paper towel available for you when you arrive. All guests are responsible for throwing away their perishable food upon departure, but there’s a good chance there will be some non-perishable items left over (sugar, salt, pepper, etc…). There may be soap for the kitchen sink, but I would plan on bringing some or purchasing some for your stay.

Q: Why won’t the TV work?

A: Make sure you’re using the right remote control. The Roku remotes should operate each TV individually. There is a way to resync remotes to a Roku box if you can’t find the proper one. Here is the link to the Roku site: https://support.roku.com/article/208755708-what-to-do-if-you-have-problems-with-your-roku-remote. If you would like to watch movies, set the input to Media/PC (That’s input either 6 or 7). Use the keyboard to control the media center. If the media center is not working, open the door to the basement and look to your left. Unplug and plug in the cord with the orange tape to reset the media center.

Q: Can I fish in the pond?

A: Technically no. The pond is a fish hatchery and the community association has placed by-laws against fishing in it. With that said, I have seen many others fish there from their properties. So, again, technically no…but feel free to use your best judgement. Also, make sure you have a PA Fishing License. You can obtain one here: www.fishandboat.com

Q: The fireplace in the loft doesn’t work?

A: Make sure it is plugged in. If the remote is missing, there are buttons on top of the console (they’re like little ninjas and blend in, you might not see them at first).
