CLEANING PROCEDURES

Here is the full list of what gets cleaned after every guest and the rotating list of deep cleaning procedures we have in place.

Every cleaning:

  • Spray/Wipe down counters with disinfectant cleaner.
  • Spray/Wipe down kitchen table and all dining chairs with cleaner. 
  • Clean and wipe out refrigerator and wipe down front with disinfectant cleaner. 
  • Clean microwave inside and out.
  • Wipe down railings, light switches, and heavily touched areas with disinfectant spray.
  • Collect linens and distribute fresh linens..
  • Clean bathrooms.
  • Vacuum all rugs including the stairs and in the loft.
  • Dust all furniture with a swiffer.
  • Clean wood floors and tile floors with a wet swiffer.
  • Clean any interior cobwebs.
  • Clean the range hood of visible grease.
  • Check all coffee pots for remaining coffee grinds or pods and discard and clean as needed. 

Cleanings during (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct)

  • Windex interior windows (excluding the high ones in the living room)
  • Windex exterior windows around the deck (excluding the high ones in the living room)
  • Clean window screens
  • Remove items from cabinets/drawers and wipe out shelves. Including bathroom cabinets. Replace all dishes and pots and pans so that they are stacked in a pleasing uniform fashion. 
  • Wipe down exterior cabinets in kitchen and bathroom.
  • Wipe down walls and use magic eraser where needed.
  • If TV screens are dirty, use water and microfiber cloth to spot clean as needed.
  • Take out linens and wipe down closet shelves.

Cleanings during (Feb/May/Aug/Nov)

  • Clean the interior of the stove.
  • Deep clean the range hood.
  • Clean fan blades of ceiling fans.
  • Clean cobwebs exterior.
  • Clean well under beds, couches (take out cushions), dressers, corners of the rooms not often touched, etc…
  • Clean filter in air conditioner. 
  • Open the drawers of all furniture and make sure nothing is in there. Face the board games and books in a pleasing manner. 

Cleanings during (Mar/Jun/Sept/Dec)

  • Steam clean carpets.
  • Toss all food in the cabinets and fridge.
  • Vacuum rugs in the basement.
  • Make sure all screens are in windows and no window cranks are missing. 
  • Replace lights if any are out.
